This cheesecake contains three layers: a chocolate graham cracker crust bottom, a creamy chocolate cheesecake for the middle, and a rich chocolate ganache (the 'truffle' part) on top. To cut the richness of the triple chocolate layers, I piped whipped cream around the outside border of the cake along with a few rows on top. And (because I'm convinced there can never be too much chocolate) I dotted each whipped cream peak with a mini-chocolate chip.
An excellent dessert to share with friends and family!
